Itinerary
06.00 AM - Pick Up
You will be picked up from your hotel, resort, cottage, or villa. The drive to Shimoni takes about 1.5 hours to reach the jetty. During the drive, you'll have the opportunity to see rural villages, sugar cane plantations, tall palm trees, and lush greenery.
The Slave Caves
Upon arrival at Shimoni, a local guide will lead you through the Shimoni caves, where slaves were "stored" during the old slave trading days before being shipped to the Zanzibar slave market.
Boarding the Dhow
after visiting the caves, you'll head to the Shimoni piers to board a traditional Swahili Dhow for a cruise to the Marine Park. Enjoy soft drinks, water, wine, beer, and snacks on board as you sail.
Dolphin Spotting and Snorkeling
As you cruise through the Indian Ocean, there is an approximately 90% chance of spotting dolphins. You'll then snorkel and marvel at the rich marine life, including corals, exotic fish, and sea plants. Masks and snorkels are provided, and you'll be accompanied by a certified and experienced guide. Assistance is available for first-time snorkelers. Refresh yourself with fruits and soft drinks back on board.
Lunch
Sail back to the Shimoni mainland to the Restaurant, where a tropical seafood lunch awaits. The four-course menu includes crab, fish, seaweed, and rice with coconut sauce. Chicken and vegetarian options are also available. Beer, wine, and soft drinks are included. The restaurant, built on coral architecture and located directly on the shores, overlooks the channel towards Shimoni.
Afternoon Activities
After lunch, you have the option to take a discovery stroll through Wasini Island and its Swahili culture, visiting the beautiful coral garden and the mangrove forest. Our guide will provide an in-depth narration throughout the tour. Alternatively, you can sunbathe and relax at the restaurant, enjoying the sea view and the afternoon breeze.

The duration of the glass bottom boat excursion with optional snorkeling from Diani Beach is 3-4 hours. During this time, you can explore the magical underwater world from the comfort of the boat.
